The countdown: 500 days to go until the ski festival is Saalbach Hinterglemm takes place

The countdown to the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships Saalbach 2025 started on 23 September 2023.

From 04 - 16 FEB 2025, the world's best skiers will be guests in the Glemmtal. The eleven races of the World Ski Championships will take place on the famous Zwölferkogel.

On the occasion of "500 days to the World Ski Championships", the representatives of the FIS, the host broadcaster and the rights holder Infront were able to get an impression of the ongoing preparations in the course of our pfficial FIS Coordination Group Meeting.

AS THE PROJECT COORDINATOR RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS WORLD CUP, I AM VERY PROUD THAT WE HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED A LOT OF OUR HOMEWORK AT THIS POINT. Great that THIS HAS ALSO BEEN CONFIRMED BY THE INTERNATIONAL GUESTS.

THE ATHLETES ANTICIPATION IS GROWING

The athletes from all eight World Cup groups were each informed in detail over two days about the route, the World Championships program and the current status of preparations. Everyone's anticipation is high.

During a hike, the athletes were able to get an idea of the individual key sections of the course, as well as the steepness and the jumps. Some of them completed the "exploratory tour" by mountain bike.

The ski stars also enjoyed the sociable get-together between the men's and women's teams. At a "Meet & Greet" event on the forecourt of the 12er KOGEL, ski fans were able to experience the ski stars up close and enjoy numerous autographs and photos.
