Starting on 04 February 2025, Saalbach Hinterglemm will transform into the vibrant heart of the skiing world. Fans from all over the world are eagerly awaiting the highlight of the winter sports season: the race for the medals at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025. Thrills, excitement, and emotions are guaranteed as the world’s top skiers compete for glory and honor.
Preparations for the 48th Alpine World Ski Championships are in full swing, and the finish stadium construction is progressing at a rapid pace. Since 07 October 2024, a highly motivated team of eight experts has been working daily to build the temporary stands. These will soon welcome 15,000 ski fans every day, creating an incredible atmosphere. With flags waving, deafening cheers, and boundless excitement, the stadium will come alive as athletes engage in the competitions.
The temporary stands are provided by the renowned company Nüssli. This Swiss company, founded in 1941, has been a leader in the industry, combining technical expertise with decades of experience. With a clear focus on safety and environmental sustainability, Nüssli sets standards and completes large projects in record time.
The countdown has begun, and the stadium around the Zwölferkogelbahn12er Kogel gondola is about to transform into a pulsating cauldron.
